Wedgits Starter Activity Tote

We bought this product for our two and a half year old daughter for Christmas and was impressed enough to buy two more sets for her friends turning three. I like that it is adaptable for many ages. Younger children just like to build and are content. There are different levels of pattern cards to challenge an additional range of abilities. My husband and I found ourselves building different things with the pieces. I ESPECIALLY like the starter tote because it comes with a bag to keep all of the pieces, the building base AND patterns. It's also nice to know that we can buy additional sets that will continue to challenge their creativity :o)

I love this toy for our 2 and 3 1/2 year-old children - a boy and a girl. It is a toy that appeals to both girls and boys and it challenges the brain of the small child to learn to build using "fulcrum" force. The primary colors and various sized pieces are a great appeal to the kids as well. My favorite part of this particular set is the board that comes with it. This is a great addition to our collection and is now the basis for nearly all of the Wedgit creations in our house.

I purchased this set for play/relationship therapy for children with autism. All the kids love it - and it is a great toy for interactive building - as the design is simple, the pieces are easy to manipulate, and there are many different ways for using the pieces. I would highly recommend it, both to parents and to fellow therapists.

I just gave it to my grandson (two years old) as a gift and he loves it. He has other building blocks and lots of other toys, but he played with this several times a day during the 4 days I was with him.

I purchased this set for my 4 year old son. It's a great set and he enjoys playing with it. I plan to order additional sets to give him more block to use.

Love it! Bought this toy for my 3 1/2 year old daughter for Christmas. She was playing with it right away and using the cards, which were great. She was also making her own designs. It was great for her and the rest of the family. I love that it can capture her attention and challenge her!

Wedgits capture the imagination of yourng children with their form and color. However, the best part is how easy they are for little hands to create and build. The cards were a big part of the success and I would recommend getting them with any set.
This was a gift for a 4 year old boy and following his birthday dinner he and his 7 year old sister opened the box and started building. Usually creative toys are the last to be played with, but not in this case, it really held their attention.

I bought this for my 2 1/2 year-old grandson. He hasn't been here since I bought it, but enjoyed the smaller set of wedgits I got earlier.
I think it will be a toy that gets lots of play time over the years since it was also enjoyed by friends in their twenties. I even like playing with it and am enjoying learning to "wedge" and "anchor" to make more complicated structures.

I feel that this toy is mediocre at best. I was disappointed in the amount of pieces included in the starter set. For that much money, there should have been more pieces included. I was excited for my grandchildren to play with this new toy and presented it proudly to them. They were underwhelmed. I will say that the weight of the plastic is heavy. I'm sure the durability will be good.

This is our third Wedgit set and we bought it for our four year old's Easter basket. His dad and I have already taken it out of the tote and played with them all. I chose this set for the included base. My four year old has sensory issues and these are the first toy he has "embraced". His eight year Lego obsessed brother loves them too. We are very, very pleased with this purchase.

Bought for my 4yr olds birthday and at first he was not interested. But after my husband showed him some of the possibilities he really enjoyed. Now he wants all the sets, which unfortunately could get expensive!!

We bought this product for our 5 year old who loves to build and create. Wedgits allows her to do both. The ideas book provides guidance for kids a bit unsure of what to do with wedgits or a child looking for a new idea. My daughter immediately started creating structures of all kinds. She loves it. The board provides stability when creating. I really like that this starter activity comes with the board and idea book along with the wedgits. And the tote allows my daughter to keep it organized and ready to go in the car for travel. We will definitely be adding to our starter kit with more wedgits.

This is a great toy to occupy kids and adults alike. I only wish it weren't so pricey and there was a kit with more pieces so you didn't have to buy so many separate kits.

This toy is wonderful. I purchased it for my 2 year old daughter and she played with it for almost 30 minutes the first day. My 5 year old loves the design cards that were included in the set. The first day we received she completed 45 of the 48 cards and couldn't wait to start them again. I will definitely be purchasing this set for friends and adding on to our set with other Wedgits products.

Wedgits are fantastic. My sons ages 9 and 6 both love them. They not only keep them busy for hours they also work together with them. They are puzzle pieces that you put together or ontop of ewch other to form the shapes that are listed on the crads that acompany the wedgits.

My child's Prekindergarten class has Wedgits. One of the teachers told me that he favored them over all the other toys. He is quite good at building things. I'd never heard of them before, but I ordered them as a distraction from Star Wars and all of the other action hero toys. The day we received them he was extremely excited, just as I hoped. He played with them for 2 straight days!
