wee wedgits 30 piece set

I already have the other wedjits and my nieces and nephews love them. Thought the larger, softer pieces would be good for the younger ones. Haven't yet given them so don't know how they will be received. I have given many of your toys to my mother who keeps them at her house for the great grandchildren. It's fun for them to have something different than they have at home.

Fantastic product

We had a single wee wedgit pyramid and multiples of the older wedgits. I was delighted to see that I could now buy a higher piece set of wee wedgits. With a baby that puts everything in his mouth, I am no longer worried about having his older brothers playing with the Wedgits, the wee ones.

I bought the 30-pc set for my 16-month-old son. He loves stacking the pieces and knocking them down. I feel comfortable seeing my son use the toy as a teether. 30 pieces feel just right to build a variety of models shown in the enclosed insert.

Genius!

I had never heard of Wedgits before but used the gift finder on the site and this was one of the first items to pop up. I have a 2.5 year old and a 7 month old. I figured since these were soft and provided some open ended play it would be good. The pieces are a great size with no pieces posing a choking hazard. They came out of the box Christmas morning and my 2 year old loved them! She started building away! She came up with some gorgeous designs. My husband and I played with them later and totally loved them as well. We can see this toy being a favorite for many years to come. I love these so much I've already considered buying more! I was a bit hesitant because I thought it was a tad pricey but it comes with so many pieces and the quality is fantastic. Well worth the price!

Wee WEDGiTS 30 piece set
Posted 2/27/2008 by Many uses for them!

Rating:

We received one pyramid worth of the Wee WEDGiTS from a friend of ours who was cleaning out toys that their children no longer used. Our nine-month old chews on them and uses them as teething toys, and our two year (nearly three) old daughter enjoys playing with them. With only one pyramid, it was difficult to keep our daughter from monopolizing them all. We told her that her brother could keep one of them, and told her which color to give to him. They're very easy to use and put together, and can be put into a lot of different shapes and orientations. With multiple sets, you can make all sorts of nifty shapes. With Mommy and Daddy helping out, it's even more fun. They are easily cleaned by sterilizing them, as we found out when our son came down with a nasty case of thrush. Put them into a microwave sterilizer, and they come out soft but clean. Once they cool down, they regain their hardness. They don't lose any of their color, even after repeated microwavings.

Great present for a one year old because the pieces are soft. Also, love the bright colors. Just the right size for little hands.

Bridges the age gap

Setting: Homeschool

I try to purchase toys that will offer a lot of entertainment for my dollar. I already had one five-piece set of Wee Wedgits at home that had been out of rotation for some time. (I rotate toys so that they're "like new" again after the kids forget about them.) When I got them out I found my preschooler very interested in building with them and my toddler very interested in chewing on this safe brain-toy. Obviously, a five piece set was not enough for them to share, so I purchased this thirty-piece set. Since we received these about a week ago my husband and two boys have used their imaginations to build all sorts of structures. The only minor drawback seems to be that taller, more delicate structures (like those which include a red or blue piece standing up on a corner) cannot be built on carpet or a rug. This certainly doesn't prevent the kids from playing with them, though.

My 11 month old plays with these sometimes, and loves to chew on them. I have peace of mind knowing they are safe for my little guy! The quality is excellent, and the product is great overal...I think my son will enjoy them more as he gets older.

It was a gift purchase for a 1 year old. The product seems to be made of high qaulity. The child is still a little young to build anything out of them other than stacking them together. But the father of the child seems to have a lot of fun with it.

I have been a big fan of wedgits since I first bought a set for a grandchild. I have been giving them as gifts to babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers for the past 5 years. I have also given them to an autistic child who enjoyed them immensly. Truly one of the best toys on the market.

Wee LOVE WEDGiTS!
Posted 4/22/2010 by Erica Wilmer

We got these for our 1 year old son! They are easy for him to grab and chew (plus no worries about gnawing on nasty chemicals). He also likes to look through them, like a frame! He has stacked them some, but I am sure more intricate building will come later. I enjoy making little towers too...and my son loves to knock them down! On a side note, my 3 year old daughter loves them too! She lines them up for her dolls to play hopscotch. They are very colorful and durable. I think we'll get more of these in the future. And I'd definitely recommend them to friends!

My 9 month old son LOVES these! They are super lightweight, and therefore easy for him to pick up and move around. Right now he is not able to stack them, but he loves to chew on them, too. I have even found my husband playing with them.

I really debated about purchasing these since they are kind of expensive, but I am so glad I did. The paper was barely off the box, before all the kids at our family gathering were fighting over the pieces. My 3 1/2 year old daughter really likes playing with them, and so do my husband and I. My 11-month old son, who I purchased the Wedgits for, likes them too, although at this age, all he does so far is chew on them. I can't wait to see what he builds with them as time goes on.

Wee Wedgits has been enjoyed by two boys, 15 months and 4 years. They are also interchangeable with the other Wedgits the boys have. They are a great family activity. Wee Wedgits encourages creativity. They are such much better than just building blocks. The boys need to experiment to see what fits together and what does not. They encourage thinking skills. So glad I purchased them from you.

We love Wee Wedgits! We bought these for our daughter's first birthday, and they were a huge hit. She loves banging them about and is beginning to stack them. Her older brother and sister (5 and 3) also love them and have made all the designs in the instruction booklet. We will definitely be buying more Wedgit products in the future!

I am really glad that now Wee Wedgits are available in larger quantity, I had purchased the smaller set but felt that more pieces were needed so I bought another small set. I like the soft pieces as well as the rounded corners. My two older granddaughters are enjoying the regular Wedgits now our newest wee granddaughter can enjoy her own very safe Wee Wedgits.

The Wee Wedgits is a Christmas gift for my 14 month old. We also purchased the Wee Wedgit Rubber Ducks. I have a feeling this toy will be a hit. The shape and texture will be good for his chubby little hands and we won't have to worry about the toys ending up in his mouth, as they are safe and easy to clean.

I bought these for my 14 month old grandson. He had the best time tossing them over his shoulder and laughing as he did so. He also enjoyed our building with them so he could knock them down. As he gets a little older he'll figure out that he can also build and create with them. I love that the Wedgits are well made, soft, and encourage the use of imagination and physical coordination in toddlers.

I purchased two Wee Wedgits sets for a center in a Mom's Day Out program. I am always excited to find quality toys that can stand up to lots of use. I also appreciate the educational value of the Wedgits. Teachers can talk about colors and sizes as the children are experimenting with them.

I really like the concept of Wedgits. However, my 16 month old son does not think they are interesting at all. The first time we played with them, he stacked a few together. That's about as much action as they've gotten. I am hoping he will go to them more as he gets older.

I got these so my 9-month old daughter would have something fun to play with in the bathroom while I shower that wouldn't scratch the cupboards. I love that they're non-toxic so I don't worry when she puts them in her mouth. An added bonus was that my husband loves them too & he and my daughter have a lot of fun playing with them together.

Wedgits are a new twist on the regular old stacking blocks. Innovative and interesting, with lots of options for building. At 9 months my son is more interested in throwing them around than stacking, but I think he will enjoy them when he's a little older.

With a one year old and a two year old, it is not alway easy finding a product that both of them will enjoy. They both love the Wee Wedgits. The 12 month old mostly likes to chew on them, but the 2 year old likes building with the Wedgits. I like the fact that the Wee Wedgits are "chew" safe, and that all Wedgits are interchangeable. I foresee more Wedgits in our future.

Our 9 month old son is just starting to enjoy building (and then destroying) sets of blocks. Actually, I think we really got the Wee WEDGiTS for my husband, who just loves to create different arrangements with this set. It is a great toy. My husband will sit there and play with our son with this set and it holds my son's attention as well as my husband's. Right now our son can stack the WEDGiTS together in a very simple order. He also loves teething on them. The 30 piece set is great. It allows for a wide range of different shaped stacks to be built. This toy will definitely grow with our son. We love it.
