I work as a clinical social worker and play therapist, so I purchased this for my play therapy room. However, my children ages 6 and 9 usually "test" the toys before I take them to work and this is one toy that won't leave our house! Both children love playing with the Boogie Board and I love that they are so creative with it. I will be ordering two more for Christmas because I will snag the Boogie Board for my work! This will be great to use when working with kids in therapy because we can draw or write and then erase - using it as a metaphor for a "clean slate".

This boogie board writing tablet is awesome!! I am a mother of 4 boys(ages 3-15) and they writing on this. We use it all the time. Great to practice spelling words on, just make it a little more fun. I cant say enough good about this product. Great for All ages!! I wonder if some day they will come out with a screen protector for it??

Good Product but pricey

This is a great product and my children just love it. The only downside is that when you erase you have to erase it entirely and can't save part of your writing. Also I know there is a new Boogie Board RIP now on the market in which you can download up to 200 drawings, writings, etc... but it is 3X the price. My kids enjoy it but it seems like a glorified magna doodle. Also it only has 50,000 erases and then it is no longer good.

I bought two of these. One for my 9 year old daughter and one for my seven year old daughter. The 9 year old uses this all the time. She loves to just sit and write words and stories and draw pictures. We were going through so much paper because she would just sit and fill up sheets. We make sure to take it with us when they need to stay quiet. My 7 year old doesn't use it as much but it is great to get her to practice her spelling words. She shares hers with her five year old brother who also loves to use it.

Giving it to my son for Christmas but when I bought it my 12 year old played with in the store for over 1/2 hour. I bought one for her too for Christmas. I got it for him to practice spelling words. I got it for her to use as scratch paper for math problems. Both can use it in the car as a travel toy. I don't think we will be disappointed.

I got a pink boogie board for my 7 yr old daughter who loves to use it to practice spelling and draw creatively. These boards are soooo cool! It is wonderful that we can so easily take it with us wherever we go and it stays protected in the nice cover. My just four year old son was always wanting to 'borrow' his sisters, so I just purchased a second one in black for him. He loves practicing his letters and is especially excited because he just learned how to write his name. Best 'toy'! Worth every penny!

Great concept. My daughter loves to draw and write, and therefore goes through a lot of paper at our house. This has been fun for her to use in the car and other places without always having to have a stack of paper handy.

I purchased two of these. One for an 8 year old and one for a 4 year old, both girls. Both seemed happy with the gift when they got it. To me it didn't look as good as on the site. One was much dimmer than the other. We'll see as time goes on how much interest they keep.

I loved the Boogie Board so much that I ordered three more
For Christmas gifts for my adult children! I'm keeping this one for myself! It's so handy for daily "to do" lists, and I love it for doodling while I'm on the phone. I don't mind being put on "hold" quite so much!

The drawings that are made on the tablet are not very sharp or bright. The drawings that are made are dim. But what is put on the tablet is easily erased. No mess. And Eco friendly. Not what I thought I was getting and the price is high but my brother enjoyed it the few times he played with it.

I purchased this for home use to leave notes, lists. I was not happy with the brightness of the writing so I sent it back for another. The second one I am much more pleased with! I plan to keep this one! Thank you kindly for the exchange.

Very lightweight, easy to carry and easy to store; I like that it is reusable with no mess- my kids love to doodle and I get tired of the scraps of paper lying around to be tossed.

This was a gift for my son, and he's only had it for one day, but so far, it is a big hit! He loves to play hangman, draw and practice his cursive writing, so we were using a lot of paper. This will be much better. I like that it is very thin and lightweight-easy to carry around. I wish there was a place to store the stylus, but otherwise, this is super. My family has asked where I got it so they can get one too.

I purchased this for my 7 year old granddaughter's birthday. She loves it especially because it is pink ! Her brothers ages 10 and 8 love it also and want one for their upcoming birthdays. I like the fact that using the Boogie Board saves trees and paper.

Purchased for a friend's 9 year old daughter... at first she seemed skeptical, but once she realized just how cool her drawing and writing looked, she wouldn't put it down. It's small, compact, and I purchased the carrying case, which protects it AND holds the stylus. A great toy! Well Done Fat Brain!!

Love this! My girls are 7 & 9 and still play with the old "magnadoodle" type toy and thought this would be a good upgrade. They can doodle on it all day and have done some of their math homework on it. I goes in the car and I imagine this summer it will go camping with us. Nice product!

My almost six-year old daughter loves to steal pieces of paper from my desk, so I thought this might be a good idea for her. She has really enjoyed writing and drawing on this tablet.
The only feature that I wish this had was a clip to keep the stylus handy. I am afraid that she'll eventually lose it if it isn't attached.

Lot's of fun. Our six and ten year old boys each got one and are on them frequently, doodling. A definate hit. It's similar to the magna doodle (same concept) but with more control and precision.

I purchased several of the Boogie Boards for adults who work in my office to use for jotting down phone messages etc. after my daughter had told me about them. They have worked out great and are far better than having a pile of sticky notes on their desks!

We got it for the 9 yr old. but the 14 month old loves it and they are constantly fighting over who gets to play with it .

Got this for our 8 year old grandson for his birthday. After opening all his gifts he went back to the boogie board and he and others , including adults played with it. He seemed to like it alot!

My daughter loves to draw and goes threw way to much paper. So I saw this and had to get it for her. Its already cracked from to having to many kids over and it was forgotten about so it didnt get put up but it still works good. The only thing I would complain about is no place for the stylus pen. My daughter will lose it quickly which is why I ordered 2 replacement ones. Now we definetly are not going threw as much paper.

The only design element I would add is to somehow attach the stylus to the board for the little ones that misplace them frequently.

This is a really great toy! The writing appears lighter than I thought it would, but still shows up nicely. It easily erases with the push of a button. The kids fight over who gets it next.
