I purchased the Robotic Crab for my 9 year old great granddaughter. After days of searching the Internet for her birthday gift she finally settled on the crab. I don't believe she has played with it since the day I bought. Today after receiving your inquiry, I asked her why she's not playing with it. She says, it doesn't react to sound and will not hide in the dark, in other words, grandma, it doesn't do what it said it would on the website and it just isn't fun. Originally, she wanted the crab and another critter. I suggested we buy one to see if she liked it and if so, I would buy a second. I am glad of this decision, but not surprised that I wasted my money. Internet purchases are usually not what they profess to be. I wish I hadn't purchased the extra batteries as well.


	Hexbug Crabs that refuse to scuttle may very well be in need of fresh batteries. We contacted our customer with this information as well as the reassurance that a replacement may be sent if the product proves defective.

Review for HEXBUG Robotic Crab

This was a birthday present for my grandson. I gave it to him before we all went out for dinner and he had an opportunity to play for it for about an hour. We were all enjoying the Hexbug. HOWEVER, when we came back the Hexbug would not work. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!!

Bought two and they did not work, the boys loved them, just would have loved them better had they moved when they clapped their hands. It moved six inches and then quit...


	Six inches is a pretty anticlimactic stroll for a Hexbug Crab. We contacted our customer to assist. Inch toward the Returns & Exchanges center for quick assistance.

A lot smaller than anticipated. It seems to fall over a lot. 4 inch x 4 inch about 2 inches high. Too small for the three year old. Doesn't hold the interest of the other kids as well. It is fragile, does not work on carpets, and has no real purpose other than to fall over when it hits a crack.

The crab was a bust. My 6 yr old grandson was so disappointed. His father tried to get it to work but there are no real directions. It was so much smaller and flimsier than I expected.
