Great place to keep bugs of every description, including lightening bugs! It is made of very sturdy material. Can't beat the price!

Little Boys favorite gift

This is a great gift for a 4-6 year old boy who is very curious with everything bug related! It let him bring them inside without mom worrying about what she would find crawling across the table!

Bought for reunion with lots of little kids. They had a marvelous time on the farm catching bugs and small toads. The product worked just as expected and was easy for these little ones to use.

I got two of these for my boys. Very durable and provides them with a great view of their collected "friends." They even take it to bed with them. :)

Excellent and CHEAP!

My son had one of these for a few years with a magnifying glass on the top but somehow he managed to get the glass out and it broke - so I picked up a new one for him after he did some chores - and this one is much better with the mesh top so the bugs can breathe. In one day we had 2 moths, a praying mantis, and now a caterpillar in there - which we're keeping and feeding and waiting for it to become a butterfly- then we'll transfer it to his butterfly pavilion - so much fun and it becomes educational as well. We search about whatever bug he caught and learn all about them - I actually have fun with it too:) Unfortunately, he gets attached to some of the cool ones- so he has to also learn to let them go so they can survive on their own. It's a great lesson for him to learn- that the bug needs to go back to nature to survive-but a little tough watching him sad for awhile about saying goodbye.

Great bug jar

The bug jar is durable yet plastic and not glass so I don't have to worry about that with kids. I like the screen on top so the bugs don't die. Great handle for carrying around the yard!
