I sent the Calico Critters living room set to my granddaughter for her 4th birthday. She LOVES it! Her mother commented on the attention to detail given to design of the furniture and accessories. I have given my granddaughter several sets Calico Critters families and accessories for her dollhouse. I prefer the Calico Critters over plastic “people” miniatures that are commonly made for dollhouses because they offer so much more to work with – the variety of colors, textures, and shapes. But more importantly, they seem to promote a sense of well being in the children because of the serenity of the design and the cozy, welcoming home environments that they encourage. They imitate life, but ever so gently. Their appeal reaches all generations; I am as enthralled with them as are my daughters and granddaughters and yes, even my3 year-old grandson!

Very cute funiture set for your Calico Critters of Sylvanaian Families. It has a lot of pieces and is great quality.
