These little critters are beautifully made and look like they will stand the test of an active child's imaginative play. The squirrel family stands and balances well. My little granddaughter especially loved their faces and tails.

Innocent, classic, well-made, movable figures are a bit hit with my 7 year old daughter. She fell in love with Calico Critters a few years ago, but just received her first Critter family as a recent birthday present. Her imagination has taken this squirrel family around the world of her room alreay - visiting Lil'Pet Shops, Little People, and Barbies - before returning to their own Calico Critter Cozy Cottage. She LOVES them.

Calico Critters - Furbanks Squirrel Famiy

We have the Furbanks Squirrel Family and Luxery Townhouse. I went for these thinking our two-year-old girl would be attracted to the cute animals and that we could expand on the entire line over time. At two she loves tucking the animals in bed, walking them up the stairs of the townhouse, and turning the lights on and off in the home. She needs to be a little older to place the critters in chairs so that they don't fall over or to move their legs so they stand up properly. I wouldn't see this as a problem -- she'll master this in time, and she actually wants to spend the time getting it right. The townhouse comes with many small items that are too small for a two-year-old, so I bring them out when we are playing with the critters and townhouse together. Everything is very cute and well made.

Our dauhgter loves the product, it's great for her imagination. We have only had the product for less than a week but so far we have not had any issues or problems.
