My 11 month old grandson plays with this toy frequently. There are 4 different activities to this toy which do not require batteries. He can push, turn, swirl and spin the dials. There is another activity which plays music. This activity requires 3 AA batteries. It keeps him busy discovering loads of activities. There are many colors, shapes and sounds. The flexible handle allows him to bring it with him wherever he goes.
