Great learning tool!

I have enjoyed the Great States Junior with my grandchildren (for non-readers). This is the next step up. It is a fun way to learn about our country for elementary/middle school children and a good review for us "older children" of all ages. It has different levels and some variations also; this keeps it interesting & challenging for the more knowledgeable individual. I also work in a special education setting & plan on using it in this setting. Yes, I agree with other reviews that the cardstock quality could be better but that is minor to me.

Great Learning Game

Great States game is a wonderful, fun tool to use in learning about the fifty states. The game is easy to set up and play, reading the instructions takes less than 5 minutes and you're playing. There is plenty of room for creativity in making your own variations for length of game and goals. It is fun to play with your children and even the adults learn! The only drawback is the low quality of the game cards which makes them awkward to use. Overall, we are pleased with this product.

Neat Game!

This is a neat game! My 7 and 8 year old got right into it and were able to successfully play right away. It is a fun way to practice geography skills. The format is wide open for how you can modify it to the level of your children...we just enjoyed playing without the timer. The only complaint is that the spinner came apart a few times. I was able to fix it without an issue, but thought I would mention it. The board and cards are very durable.

Great States is age appropriate, with words and pictures for even the youngest player to understand. Our 4 yr old can play with the family as he can see the pictures and point to the words on the map. The older kids 7 and 8 enjoy the game very much because it is easy for them to read and understand and it goes along with things they are learning in school. We adults enjoyed it too. While it is easy for the kids, it is interesting for the adults. We are very happy with the game. The only thing that would make it better is a spinner not made of cardboard which in small hands becomes slightly bent and then not easily spun. A plastic spinner would add better quality to the game.
