This truck was not what I expected. It looked sturdy in the picture... and like it had working parts. It is made of cheap plastic. It has no directions for how to work the ladder, does it attach somewhere? The siren was too hard for my three year old to push and didn't stay on long enough. The hose was shown in the fireman's hand, but I didn't see how it came off. The fireman barely fit into the truck. I bought it because the charts showed that 3 year olds played with it well. I will keep it only because he may grow into it. I will not buy another Mighty World toy.

Mighty Fire Truck

This truck is GREAT! My 6 year old loves it and has played with it non-stop since he opened it. My only complaint is that one of the compartment doors broke a hinge - but that is likely due to rough handling and not to a defective product. The truck has lots of compartments just like the real thing. I suggest you spring for the Mighty World Fire Brigade set as well to get more people and lots more equipment.

The hose unwinds from the truck so the little guy can put out an imaginative fire, the accessories are fun, the detail is amazing (just look under the hood and under the truck itself for accuracy). And, most importantly, the siren sound is not too loud or annoying!
Great toy!!

My son is two year old. He is loving his fire truck. It was exactly what he was asking for. We looked everywhere for a truck that all the doors open. Thanks. He sleeps with this truck.

My son is obsessed with fire trucks and playing fire man so we thought that this gift would be perfect. We bought both the fire truck and all the extra fire men, gear and components. He was really excited about his new toy and has definitely enjoyed "fighting fires" with his new gear. There are so many parts to discover and play with. Almost too many little pieces. Some of the pieces broke within the first couple days of playing with them. Overall we were a little disappointed because it wasn't an inexpensive toy.

I bought both the mighty world truck sets and my grandson loves them both. The firetruck is very well constructed and love the details.
