We are very happy with the Kapla blocks. Our 2 daughters, 2 and 1/2 and 4 and 1/2 just enjoy them a lot and we do too. They both attend a Montessori school and these blocks are just in the perfect line with their school education.

I first saw this item in Berkeley's Lawrence Hall of Science. I thought it was possibly the best toy for children I have ever seen. It combines so many attributes of creative problem solving. At the same time teaching children spatial, design, structural intelligence and problem solving. Kids (and parents) at the Hall of Science were totally engaged building elaborate pieces. They were learning from other children and then taking off on their own designs. Also helps with dexterity. By the way, it's a ton of fun.

This is a great toy. I ordered three for our 5 year old grandsons and already have one. That is how I knew about them.

The Kapla blocks are great for all ages. I bought them to have at my house at Thanksgiving. They entertained all the kids aged from 5 years to 14 years old.

We will purchase this product again when our grandson is older. It would have been more useful to us to have the sizes of the wooden blocks clearly identified on the product.
