My son (6) and my daughter (9) love these "blocks". There is only so much you can build with the thick, heavy blocks we still had from when they were little. These are great for building more sophisticated structures.. or palaces for my daughter's littlest pets. The planks come with an idea-booklet and there is also a website to get more inspiration or instructions on how to build everything from skyscrapers to boats. Great product, great quality. I'll keep these for my grandchildren.

Great for kids of all ages

What a great toy! My son had played with Kapla blocks at school and wanted some for home. I was put off by the price of the Kapla blocks that I found online and saw that the keva blocks were more affordable. Ok so they don't come in colors, but I'm fine with that. When we opened up the box they were an instant hit with all of us including some grown up friends that were visiting.

This is a great toy! It was a Christmas gift for my 5 year old. He enjoyed playing with it. Even my husband got into playing with it and kept trying to build one of the pieces shown in the guide book.

We purchased this item for my 4 year old. We know it is an item that will grow with him. Now he makes simple stacks and hauls blocks around while we spend time on the floor building more complicated structures. It is wonderful for playtime because I enjoy being on the floor by him, and he likes seeing what we can create "together". The blocks are of good quality. The price is high, but we are happy to buy a product made in the USA. This is definitely not something we will be in a hurry to give away any time soon.

I bought this for my son (3.5yrs) and husband. They both seemed to enjoy it, my husband a bit more, but I am sure this is a toy that will be used for years to come.
