These are simply beautiful little planks of maple. The simplicity of the material makes it very attractive to touch and look at. I have them in my office at a 450-child elementary school. There is a constant stream of children passing through. So far there have been a lots of oohs and wows in response to the pictures in the booklet, but no building. I am planning to make it a key activity at the carnival next week, and to add it to the curriculum at various points. I am surprised that no one's started to pile them up.
