Bought this for my 5 yr old son's birthday - It was one of his favorite toys and was very easy for him to pick up on how to control. Appears very durable and looks super cool. Only complaint is that the battery does wear down in around 20 min and then requires a 4 hour change. I think this is the same for all RC cars but still hard to explain to a 5 year old who wants to keep playing. We will probably get an extra battery to extend the play time.

My seven year old boy got this for his b-day and he is really enjoying it. My 10 year old daughter also has had fun with it. It seems to be very sturdy and well made. The remote control doesn't have a quality feel to it but it is working great!
We Knew What to Expect

The 6 year old loves his car. We had read reviews of all the remote control cars and knew that they don't last long. The plastic piece that holds the antenna up broke the first day and we are using the tape method. It is actually a piece we would buy if it were easy to find on the web. Many other customers said the battery did not fit and they had to use duct tape, but we did not have a problem. Car on land is fun - doesn't work in the water for us because the antenna falls under the water and you lose contact

My husband and I bought this for our two-year-old nephew and it's an absolute hit! He can work the controls a bit by himself but is equally pleased to have someone else control it for him...Did I mention the adults loved this present too?!

This is a great car! It's sturdy, it cruises in our rugged mountains. The remote works at far distances. For us, however the awesomeness of the car made it all the more frustrating when we had purchased one for each of our boys so they could race and play together. No go. There is only one channel for the signal, so one remote moves both cars. They can not play with them at the same time on our property at all, because even with one outside, the signal reaches all the way into our house and moves the one inside. BUMMER for us. Good news for an only child.

Our 5 year old grandson loves this remote control toy. He likes that it goes in water and floats.
