I bought this toy for my daughter (7 years old) and my very physical 17 month old. It is not only pleasing to look at, but a huge hit with both of my children. They sit in it, spin in it, put it on their head, stand on it, the possibilities are endless... Who knew such a simplistic design could be so much fun! The only problem is she wants a few more. I know that I will order another so they can have one of their own. Highest rating. A refreshing toy.

I bought this item not only for my 2 year old son, but also for a friend's 3 year old with autism. He seemed to really enjoy it, particularly using it to spin in circles on the floor. The idea of the product is great. The children are only as limited as their imagination.

This is a great toy. It's very sturdy. It's actually bigger, than I expected. My daughter (3 years old) loves it. I expect my 14 month old son to soon take hold of it as well. I like that it really encourages imagination to play with it. I'm sure this will be a toy that will stay around for a long time in our home!

My husband and I bought this product for our 4 year old daughter. At first, she wanted us to tell her what to do with it. However, it wasn't long before her imagination took over. It is so fun to watch her come up with different ways to play with the Bilibo. Anything from spinning in it to using it as a stage when she has something "important" to say. She has only had it a week, but it has already made it's way to the top of her toy list!

I ordered one of these for each of my two grandchildren, ages 2 and 4. They were at my house on the day the Bilibos arrived. We tore into the box. Instead of having to drag them away from wanting to play in the box, they immediately started playing with the Bilibos. Hats, chairs, boats, you name it and they pretended that the Bilibos were it. Then I tied a rope through the holes and took turns pulling them around my house until I was panting! What fun we had. A wonderful way to stimulate their imaginations!

My 4 year old has a sensory processing disorder. The movement that this toy provides simulates that of swinging on a tire hanging from a tree. This helps in some sensory perception issues that my son experiences. He has only had this for about a week, but so far he loves it. He loves to sit and spin around in it, which is exactly the reason I bought it. All the other benefits of this toy are just a bonus. My 3 year old loves it, too. They sit and spin and wobble together!

Our son is enjoying the Bilibo both indoors & out. It is a wonderful toy. However the product did not look 100% new. It came with scuffs and scratches on the innerside surface and out. It almost looked like a "floor model". With that aside, we are pleased with how our son took to the product. (Note from Fat Brain Toys: Hmm... We are "stumped" on this one. Our two and five year olds love this product. They do everything it is designed to do: they sit in it, they spin in it, they wear it as a hat, they hide under it. It is fabulous. Creative play which engages them and stretches their imagination. And, added bonus, when they are each fighting for their space on the couch, I plop each of them in their bilibo on top of the couch and presto! No more "Hey you're on MY SIDE!!!!" Great product we are very happy.

This is the coolest thing! My husband thought I was crazy when I explained it to him, before it arrived and then after as well. However, it is honestly one of the most played with toys my son recieved. He is on the autism spectrum. While he is 6 years old (close to the end of the age range of this product), I do not see him putting it away anytime soon. It is used as a bucket. He also uses it as a monster truck. He can turn it into a tunnel for everything. Sometimes he just sits in it while playing. We are very pleased. It is more than just a "bowl" as my family implied!

I purchased Bilibos for my grandchildren (ages 4, 2, 2, and 10 months). I had a feeling that they would be a fun and creative interactive toy. After you have been a grandparent for awhile, you become numb trying to find fun, stimulating toys that don't make obnoxious sounds, aren't made of cheap plastic, and deserve a place in your grandchildren's playroom. I was so excited for their responses and to watch their little minds devise new activities!

I had a plastic seat when I was a kid and my mom still has it - I'm 42! All the kids sit in it and spin. When I saw the Bilibo I thought it was similar and was quite excited, plus it had all those great reviews. I think it stinks. Neither of my children played with it for more than 30 seconds. It doesn't function the way I expected but regardless of that - the kids don't find it interesting or fun. We are planning on returning both Bilibos we purchased.

I gave this toy to each of my kids and my 2 nephews. I was concerned that it might be a flop, but my 3 year old immediately turned it over and started spinning in it! Then my 1 year old did the same thing (with my help) and they laughed for an hour. Now they have played with them every day and have found alternate things to do with it. I love Bilibo - no lights, no batteries, and they are bigger then I expected because I think the kids in the pictures must be older than my 3 year old. I would imagine that an even older kids would find even more things to do with it. Bilibos also seem to be very strong. Highly recommended.

The pink one was given to my 2 yr old niece (with brothers, ages 4, 6 & 8). They did not show the slightest interest in it, maybe because of the color. My niece did not really seem to want to play with it; however, I could not keep my 2.5 yr old daughter away from it! She put her dolls in it - dragged them all over the house in it - rocked them (she has an actual baby cradle, but chose to put her babies in the Bilibo!) and she kept trying to sit in it. She is delighted with her yellow Bilibo. She is sitting in it, and giving spin rides to all her dollies and animals. When I put it on my head, it scares her a bit, but she is still very small.

Being a plastic engineer myself, I'm always interested in how plastic products are designed and made. This toy is very well designed and manufactured. My daughter is just over two years old. So far she has used the seat as a baby bed, a helmet, and as a "hill" to climb, balance and jump from. She is a very busy kid, so the physical activities she's been doing with the seat have been great fun.

My granddaughter at first said, "What is this?" I told her it's a toy to use in any way she'd like. She started by standing in it and rocking back and forth. Next she sat in it and rocked. After a while she turned it over and stood on it with one leg in a bent leg position like a heron. After I noticed it with her other gifts in it. And still later she sat in it reading her book. She's 7 but her 2 year old brother and 5 year old sister were just as inventive with their Bilibos. We did supervise the 2 year old. A great toy, just as I had read it would be.

I was a little nervous about how my three year old niece would receive the Bilibo since there are no instructions for its use. He too sat inside and wanted to take a spin. He played with the Bilibo until his sister insisted on getting her yellow thing back. It later became a feed bucket for grandpa as he pretended to be a horse. Personally, I like to throw things into to watch them fly out.

I was surprised to see that my three grandchildren (aged 5, 3, & 2) weren't really enthralled with their Bilibos. I got them each one, and showed them the booklet that came with them, to give them some ideas of how it's used. I sat the children in them and twirled them, but they were not impressed. Maybe over time they will be drawn into playing with them. I liked the idea of them, but perhaps these children prefer something that lights up and/or plays music, as so many toys today do! (Note from Fat Brain Toys: We recommend giving children the Bilibo without the instruction booklet and then sitting back to watch. The joy of discovery is what makes Bilibo a unique toy. Children tend to decide for themselves what to do with Bilibo.)

I ordered the Bilibo for my 18 month old for Christmas. Needless to say, it stayed wrapped only about a day before my curiosity of how he would use it got the better of me. I have been looking for a toy that would pry my son away from a book for a few moments in order to use and further develop some of his gross motor skills. This product is it. He walked up to it with his head cocked to one side and a grin slowly started across his face. He immediately sat in it and tipped back and forth while chanting "mocking, mocking" (rocking). He then stood up, picked it up and moved it to a different location in the room and when he dropped it it was upside-down, if you will. Again he sat on it for a moment and then got up again. It went on to become a basket, an over-sized helmet (a la "Space Balls") a gift to others in the room and finally an objet d'amour. It now joins the ranks with the mongoose puppet and his Beatrix Potter books. This is a fabulous product that sparks imagination beyond anything an adult could fathom.

So far my 2 year old daughter is using it mostly as a container for stuffed animals or insisting that her dad puts it on his head like a hat, but I think that as she gets older she'll find many new uses. She's explored using it as a seat as well, and it won't be long before she sits in it I'm sure!

I bought this bilibo for my 18 month old. I was unsure whether or not it would capture his attention beyond the initial WOW! He has played with it multiple times, and each time he comes up with something new. First it was a chair, then a hat, then a bucket for his toys. In a world with many toys that seem to lose their draw almost immediately, I absolutely relish this toy and its endless possibility for creative and imaginative play!

Our older kids find the Bilibo's fun to spin in, but they are too big to sit in them properly. With that in mind, I hope that our twins will enjoy playing with the Bilibo's when they get a bit older. Until then, I have decided to store them.

We bought this toy for our 10 month old son. We decided to buy it now, even though it is rated for slightly older kids. Right now we carefully rock and slowly spin our son in this - which results in laughs and smiles on his part. He has also discovered that if he throws balls into the Bilibo they roll around and make lots of noise - also a winner with him. And, if we flip it, we can hide toys under it which he then tries to extract in various ways. We also had our niece and nephew play with it. Our niece is seven. She is on the tall side and had problems sitting and spinning in it. Our nephew, who is five, could sit and spin in it, although he too was getting a bit tall for doing that. He enjoyed putting his toy soldiers under it and on it. Overall, I think this will be a toy that our son will get a lot of use out of and will grow into over the years.

My 3 year old likes to stand on it (hump side up) and jump off of it. We think it has enabled her to develop a better sense of balance. The design is great. I love "open-ended" toys that promote creativity. My 3 year old has had hers for 1 week now and it has already been used as a "sit-n-spin", a basket for toys, a cave for her dinosaurs, a helmet, a step stool, a swing for her bear, etc. You get the picture! My 7 month old also finds it fascinating. I can see potential for this toy being used in many different ways over the coming years. The reason I gave it only four stars is because it's a bit bulky for storage and it's plastic so the static in the dry weather causes it to pick up all the debris off what I thought were my clean floors. But my daughter seems truly pleased with it and that's all that matters.

The 3 yr old enjoys using it as a hat, shell, or house, but hasn't really figured out how to spin in it. If a kid leans backward while sitting/spinning in this toy, they could fall back and possibly hit their head. My 3 yr old can't remember not to do that. We bought this for our daughter, and even though she's not quite 2 years old, she loves it. She uses it to throw toys and dolls in, to sit in it and read, have us spin her, and - her favorite - use it as a big hat. I only bought one because I wanted to see how she reacted to it, so we'll be buying more in the future. The only downside is that the plastic tends to get scratched on our wood floors, so it's going to get more than normal wear-and-tear on it than if it was used mostly in a carpeted family room. (But what kids' toys don't get worn after years of use?) This is a fabulous product that's so beautifully designed, we love to have it out all the time!

Held Its Own In A Sea Of Presents

The Bilibo held its own in the overwhelming sea of presents. It has been a hit with our daughters (ages 3-1/2 and 1-1/2). They've had them for less than a week and are only just beginning to scratch the surface of what they can do with them. So far, their favorite activity is to sit in the Bilibos and have their dad spin them. But they've worn them as helmets, for peek-a-boo, as a "rock" to stand on and jump off of, and as a seat for stuffed animals and dolls. The Bilibo also sparked a great deal of creativity and laughter from the adults who examined the gift on Christmas Eve ("Luke, I am your father.") I would highly recommend the Bilibo to anyone looking for a good gift for children. It's so simple that's it's absolutely wonderful! It really encourages imagination. I can see this as a gift that will be with us and used for many years to come.

The kids thought up about 20 uses for them on the first day, and are still coming up with new ones. I love Bilibo's open-ended nature which encourages creative play. The kids rock in them, spin in them, drum with them, carry babies and toys in them, hide beneath them, jump off them, and generally just carry them around and love them. They were immediately attractive to this group of 2-3 yr olds. They're made of great quality, hard plastic. They're so sturdy I can even stand on them myself!

I think my son might be too young for the Bilibo (17 months). He looked at it, but didn't enjoy sitting in it or spinning in it, or using it for much of anything yet. I'm hoping that this will change as he matures, because it seems like a neat open-ended toy.

OK, Everyone loves this thing! My daughter uses it all the time. She loves to scoot around, spin, sit in or on the bilibo. Then comes the other games - she rocks her baby, carries things, plays with our cat by pulling things under it... It is such a simple design that it is really up to our child to deside what to do with it! My daughter loves it!

Bilibo was a great 2nd birthday gift for my little girl. It has inspired lots of giggles, active play, and imagination. The only problem we've had with it is my preschooler's tendency to hog it for herself when we aren't watching. Good thing her birthday is coming up, too. I have a hunch that these will come in very handy as energy burners while we're cooped up through the long winter his year. It's funny how the simplest toys can be the most entertaining.

My 2 1/2 yr old is not sure what to do with it. I've showed him how the Bilibo works but no go. It's sitting in his toy box.

This colorful and durable toy promotes balance, strength and imagination as children sit, roll, climb and play on, in and around it. It's a stool. It's a basket. It's a bridge. And it goes effortlessly from playroom to bath to playground--just like your child!

This product is great. My nephew carries it with him like his own chair and laughs as he spins himself around. Very creative invention!

My daughter loves her bilibo. She puts her "friends" in it, sits in it, and puts it on her head to play hide-and-seek.
