Makes a great pet toy

I bought this for my sheltie puppy. The regular foxtails are a big hit with my adult shelties, but I wanted something softer for the puppy. He loves it! The bright colors and tail really hold his attention, more so than typical dog toys. My only caution is that it's not appropriate for dogs who are heavy chewers, as the fabric is a lightweight parachute-type material and could easily be chewed through. But for breeds who are not big chewers, it's a great fetch toy.

This was the third time we have bought the foxtail. It is for our dog and she loves to run and chase.

The ones I'd seen in the past, had what looked like a rubber baseball used and the ball - the one we received has what appears to be a foam ball, which doesn't go as far. Is the one with the 'baseball' still available. I didn't see it when I ordered the other ones.

We had a Foxtail that our children, who are now 24 & 20, played with years ago. We just got a new pup and she found the old toy and has fallen in love with it. Needless to say it has seen better times. I could not locate the toy here in Calgary, so when I found it on-line at youir store I purchased 2 of them for her to play with. I know the toy will take a beating but hopefulyy with a new one and a back up we can make it through this phase.

We only looked at it in the package but it looks fun. Exactly what we were looking for. It is a Christmas gift for my nieces this year so we will not know how it works before Christmas.

As I made the remark when I purchased the Klutz Foxtail Softie was purchased for my two Golden Retrievers. They now have three and even sleep with it. A good toss toy and they prance around with the ball in their mouth and the tail flying finally will return it to me for me to toss it again. A super toy for active dogs!
