K'Nex Carnival

The product was fun to put together and the wordless, pictures only, instructions clear if carefully followed. My 6 year old daughter and I spent two sessions of 2 hours each to build the first 3-ride model, and she was able to do her 1/2 of the work without difficulty. She was ecstatic when we finally turned on the motor and all the rides started to move. The only problem was that the people are rather ugly and don't fit into the rides well so they keep falling to their death.

K'NEX is excellent for mechanically creative children. Adult participation, initially, is a big plus.

Outstanding toy!

We have this set ourselves and have given it as a gift - it is wonderful fun to build, and the end result is very satisfying. The set includes a motor and also some K'nex people to ride on the rides. My son (age 8) loves this toy!

It was a little difficult to put together. The gear instructions for the ferriswheel did not work until my husband rearranged things. I was missing a piece for the flying birds. But generally I am happy with the outcome.

My 6 year old daughter didn't set it up, my husband did, but she is enjoying playing with it now that it is going. There are plans to tear it apart and make other things with it. The only problem I see is there is no where to store the parts. I can imagine parts are going to disappear once the carnival is taken apart.

My son loves this toy, but for a parent it has too many parts! Seriously, it is fairly easy to put together and fun to play with when it's finally assembled.

The K'nex Hometown Carnival was a big hit with our nephew as well as his parents. It is easy to assemble, yet provides a good challenge for a young child. In addition to the carnival rides shown on the directions our nephew made up a new ride using additional pieces from other K'nex sets and his imagination.
