My 3 year old son has enjoyed reading the book and putting each pal together. Usually my son doesn't spent more than 5 minutes on one toy. But with K'nex story pals he can spend much more time reading and assembling. This is a good tool for getting kids to read. My son really enjoys this toy.

I purchased this product to enhance story comprehension for a preschooler with autism. My son loves manipulatives so this was a great way to use his preferred modality to "hook" him into a less-preferred activity (listening to an unfamiliar book). I was happy to discover that the book included is in board book format. It is definitely a read-aloud text. There are not specific instructions for assembly; however, there are only 12 pieces and a variety of depictions from various angles. It comes in a plastic/cardboard storage container with a slot for the book. Also recommended are The Ugly Duckling and The Tortoise and the Hare Story Pals building sets.

I purchased this item for my grandaughter. She has enjoyed reading the book and assembling
chicken little. The great thing is that my grandson that normally doesn't like to read to much,
asked for me to read him the story so that he could assemble chicken little. This is an awesome
tool for getting kids to read.

A friend had the Story Pals and I bought them for my Grandson. They are truly fun and neat to play with and have someone read the story to them. I am very Happy with your quick service and the fact that you sent an e-mail for my review of Toys.

Grandson loved all four of the K'NEX story pal books. Fatbrain toys was the only place I could locate these items. I particularly liked the fact that the website offered inventory amounts on each item.

My son really enjoys this toy. I bought all four story book pals. He enjoys creating each "pal". We found out about the story pals by going to a friends house that had them. I think this allows my son to use his imagination while giving him great hand eye motor skills.
