Awesome Learning Toy
Posted 10/18/2011

Rating:

This cash register is great! My son (age 5) loves it so much. It allows you to scan toys, etc. and then it shows a price. You can then total your purchase and pay with cash or credit. It is a great way to teach your child about the value of money. It come with realistic coins and bills. Not only can you use it for imaginative play, but it also has games to teach addition, subtraction, and coin recognition, to name a few. The only reason I did not give it a five star rating is because if the drawer, or coin bank, is open it will not perform any other functions. That aside, this is an incredible toy that combines imaginative play and learning about money and math. I would highly recommend it to a friend.

The cash register is very well constructed and presents children with quality learning time. This was purchased for our grandaughter who just turned 3. She LOVES playing with the money and is able to learn mathematical concepts appropriate to her age level.

TEACHING CASH REGISTER
Posted 1/5/2011 by SARAH A HEADLEE

Rating:

My son received this gift from Santa for Christmas. He was very excited to put batteries in it and play with it right away. It has fun learning games on it to play alone. He loves to play store with his sisters and practices checking out like a cashier, so it is also very interactive and encourages imaginative play.

Money Talks

Jeremy loves his cash register. He likes counting money, making change, and also role-playing the cashier-customer dialogues. Having a credit card, scanner, and coupon makes it realistic and complex.

Excellent educational toy - a little complicated
Posted 2/20/2010 by Diana Dimarino

Rating:

This cash register is very realistic and educational. My daughter and friends love it (they are only about 2 1/2yrs). It teaches the coin names and is good for teaching and practicing addition and other basic math skills.
Only problem is that the register is a little complicated to use, the parent definitively has to read the manual.

great "toy"!

I have quotations around toy because it is more of a teacher. My 5 year old is having a blast playing cashier and doesn't realize she's learning about money and math at the same time. I got it mainly because she wanted a cash register to play with but when I looked at the choices I decided I may as well get an educational one, too. I am very happy with the choice and so is my daughter.

I am so excited about this toy. One of the twins will be the shopper and one the shop keeper. I like the talking part also. The games will be used later.

My rating of Teaching Cash Register

Two grandchildren ages 3 and 5 are sharing this toy as they play store. I told them if they could share well, I would get more for their play store. They are doing so well, I could ask for no more. Just counting and learning to identify denominations of cash are worth it but the addition will come in the future.

Gave this toy to my 6 year old neice who asked for a toy cash register. She played with it immediately and her 3 and 4 year old cousins couldn't keep their hands off of it either. All this before we even had batteries to put into it!

It is a Christmas present. He hasn't opened it yet. However, it is similar to (and more intricate than) one he has played with before so we are confident it will be a new favorite.

huge hit!

I purchased this cash register for my 2 year old because she loves to play with the junky ones at the store. I wanted a higher-quality toy that wouldn't annoy me to pieces. The Teaching Cash Register has been just fantastic! My other kids(ages 5-10) play with it all the time. The drawer does pop open really hard, but it's not a huge deal. Overall, I was thrilled with the product.

My rating of Teaching Cash Register
Posted 12/31/2010 by Liz Farrell

This register is so realistic! My 2 1/2 year old is perhaps a little too young to really use the games, but he is learning the different coins and loves stashing them away in the drawer.
