Review for Super Challenger

This was recommended by my daughter's school for kindergarten preparation and NYC's ERB tests if anyone has to put their child through that process. It took a few times to get used to the concept but now she enjoys fitting the pieces together and seeing which shapes work. I find that it is a game that I have to sit down and encourage her to work on. She doesn't pick it up to play for hours on her own.

I bought teh Mighty Mind for my daugther (then age 4) a few years back. Her brothers (4 and 6) hav now discovered the game and we simply had to get the rest. Super Challenger is super, now all three can have a go and all finding their own level. Th samles is doing this while te others are doing school-homework.

A great toy kids enjoy & think differently with

My 4 and 7 year old both really enjoy this toy. They're both into puzzles, and it's a great compilation of different kids of geometric thinking. One caution is that with the large number of tiles in this set, they sometimes slip easily. A magnetic set would likely be better so kids don't get frustrated. This Super Challenger was a great follow up to Might Mind & with the two sets my kids have plenty of tiles to play with

good product. my kids enjoy this heaps. however, kindna wish that the paper is thicker and of a better quality. the binding on the "big idea book" is cheap too. great idea, great product. but quality cld be better.

just love the way it engages my son! i am amazed every time to see him find ways to solve the puzzle and this is teaching him patience and developing him mentally to find more than one way to solve a problem. i am glad we ordered this.

We had the original mightly minds when my older kids were small. My four year old found the box and was entranced by the puzzles. One piece was missing (only one!) and I was going to order just the extra pieces but we went for the super challenger. We were not disappointed! He loves it and so do his older siblings. The only thing I would recommend to the manufacturer is to have a place to put the tiles if you don't feel like organizing them in their "spots" when you are done playing, to avoid losing any as they float around in the narrow box.

Cognitive Fun and learning for all ages!

My three children (7,5, 2- 1/2) just jumped into this game. They LOVE manipulating the tiles. The cards are large and easy to use. The extra set of tiles works great. We did purchase a third set so that each child could play. The cards meet each child at their cognitive ability and encourages them to push onto the next level. I like that the beginner levels have the individual shape pieces outlined and the more difficult do not. Great product that keeps their attention for a good amount of time & will be used for years!

My son just loves that. He can stay by the desk with this toy more then one hour. As long as he is challenging himself he learns to be more creative and inventive. It is wonderful toy, exspecially for young boys.
It was definitely our top pick.

Good toy. Almost perfect.

With two sets of tiles, both boys can play at the same time (with different design cards) or one of the parents can play too. The Big Idea Book requires both sets of tiles and have scenes surrounding the tile design area. This makes it more interesting. A major advantage of the way the tiles are stored (in a plastic pattern instead of just tossing them into the box) is that we always know when a piece in missing but we wish that storage is a little sturdier.

Great toy

Setting: Home

My 6 year old son enjoys finding the combinations of shapes which complete a picture. It's great for his fine motor control. He can sit in one place and complete a puzzle without getting distracted by his other toys. He is able to finish them mostly by himself. Very pleased with it.

Three good toys in one box

A great follow-up toy if your child liked Mighty Mind. You get three new sets of designs, each more difficult than the last. The extra set of tile shapes can be used on double-size designs, or can enable children or family members to "race" to see who can finish their design card first. My 6-year-old girl loves this toy, especially if mom or dad sits with her while she works. Just a parent's companionship and an occasional small hint enables her to complete designs that at first glance looked "too hard" to do.

This would be a better toy if it came already magnitized. It is frustrating to children because the tiles continually move around while they are creating the design.

My daughters are 3 and almost 6 years old, and they love this set. We have the original Mighty Mind set, and this is the perfect extension of the original. It's great to have the additional set of shape blocks and the extra design cards. We love it!

This toy is great. Keeps my 2 boys busy, and they enjoy trying to solve each one of the cards. I see them thinking. When they get it, they feel very proud of themselves.
