excellent doll......seems lifelike.....my daughter loves to open and close her eyes. She likes to pretend play with her by giving her the pacifier and bottle.

So far my one yr old daughter is mostly just memorized with the doll's eyes. She also enjoys taking the hat off and trying to put it on her own head. Actually, she is still far more interested in the doll's accessories (bottle, bear, etc) than the doll. She does giggle a lot when I make the doll dance for her. I think this is a good first baby doll. It is soft. It has nice features (good for teaching body parts). I am excited to see how my daughter interacts with the doll as she gets older.

I ordered this item as a gift for my 3-year-old granddaughter. She called to say that she LOVES it! Thanks! Since she lives in another state and I had the doll shipped to her, I have not handled it, but my daughter says it is beautiful and very cuddly.

This is such a beautiful quality doll! Some contemporary doll makers have made baby dolls realistic to the point that they're a little creepy, but Madame Alexander's are SO appealing. My daughter loves the sleeping eyes, and with all the accesories, this baby is a good value for the price.

I gave this baby doll to my 2 1/2 yr old granddaughter. Her parents report she thoroughly enjoys playing with this doll. I included a feeding set also, which naturally increases the fun of playing with the doll.
