The doll was purchased as a 1st birthday gift for my daughter. I had been looking for a Raggedy Ann doll because I had one given to me as a 1st birthday gift and wanted to do the same for my daughter. However, all of the dolls I found had button sewn on for eyes and I was concerned of the choking hazard. Not only is the Madame Alexander doll safe for her (painted face) but the quality is by far better than any I came across.

This Raggedy Ann Doll is very cute and has the look and feel of a high quality doll. I only wish she had button eyes like the doll in the stories!

This is a high-quality doll and I was very excited to learn it was made by Madame Alexander since I have been collecting her dolls since I was a child. I purchased one for my grandaughter's first birthday to continue the tradition of her mom (my daughter) and I both having one when we were small. Since my grandaughter is so young, I am glad there are not button eyes. They are made of felt. I also purchased one for me for my collection. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I received the dolls and thought they were both very nice. I was more than pleased with their overall appearance. The dolls were purchased as a gift for my granddaughter, 11 years old, with the intention that they would be used for display purposes and for occasional play. They have in no way been tossed about or abused. However, Raggedy Ann's hair has almost completely fallen out and Raggedy Andy's is doing the same but at a slower pace.

Raggedy Ann and Andy's hair loss is unfashionable and unexpected, apparently unrelated to age or the stress of a recent move to Canada. Our customer was provided credit for the defective dolls. Please visit the Returns & Exchanges center for details on our policies on things such as inexplicable toy balding.

The doll was purchased as a keepsake from her great grandmother. Great grandma was happy with the quality of the doll, as she used to sew each grandchild a rageddy ann doll and always stitched I LOVE YOU where the heart was on the body. Due to failing eyesight and being in a nursing home, she was very happy to present her 1st great granddaughter with a doll too! We looked at several rageddy ann dolls at other stores, and yours was the our choice. Thank you Fat Brain Toys for the quality doll!!

The face was hard and I was looking for a cloth soft face. Everything else about it was wonderful, but because the face was hard I had to return it.

She is a beauty and I know my gran-daughter will love it. I love it and want to put it up on my shelf to "awe" her. Very nice construction and am sure it will lat a very long time.

We purchased this as prop for a play that takes place in the 1950s. Several audience members have asked where we got it since they recognize it from their childhood!

I wanted to give a baby shower gift from my heart, not from a registry list. My Raggedy Ann, a gift from my Aunt Louise, has been with me through life's journey for over sixty years, so I chose this doll. She's the perfect gift. I am sure she will be loved and cherished as much as I love and cherish my dear doll, who is still in good condition. I am so glad that Amazon linked me to your site. Thank you for providing exactly what I was looking for.

I am a big Raggedy Ann lover, and have quite a few! This one is maybe one of my new favorites! Love her. She seems so sturdy - love that her head is solid. She found a new special spot in my little antique dolly chair. Yes, she was for me, from Santa :)

I love giving new kids a quality doll or teddy to take them through the rough times -- or just to comfort them. This Raggedy Ann Cloth Doll is especially nice. It may take a little time, but I have no doubt the little girl I sent it to will become fast friends with this doll.
