Sure it will hold up nicely with all ages using it this was purchased for a Christmast gift.

Great Hit with the grandchildren!

We bought one of these at the suggestion of our daughter for our granddaughter's birthday and decided to get another for another granddaughter in a different family. One was 7; the other, 6. Both really liked it. They like it as much for the fact that it was a tent that they could get in as well as having puppet shows and wanted to sleep in it. Even the 12 year old brother got it in as did the mothers although it was a tight fit for the latter!
