Quadrilla 9 Not So Fine

This product does not meet my 5 year old son's expectations simply because it does not come with a book of examples on specific runs to use it in. Because he is 5, he has to rely on the Quadrilla example manuals when building the runs. He has only begun experimenting with building his own. He wants to use it more...and that's the problem. Unless you are an advanced builder, you won't get a ton of satisfaction from this product.

Excellent Add-On

One challenge I face in my family(5,4,and 2yr old) is accidental knock downs, especially on the taller builds. The dog, cat, 2 yr old etc., can cause quite a lot of trouble. I find that this one piece circle, whether place high or low(especially high), significantly improves the stability of large layouts.
We are also having fun working out new ideas with this thing. We purchased 2 of them, and they really open up a lot of possibilities.
This is one of the best toys that we have. Our Quadrilla collection will be played with for years to come.

Great addition to Quadrilla sets

Our son loves this expansion set. It stabilizes his marble runs and he rarely builds one without using it. Highly recommended.
Second Expansion 9 ordered--8 year old loves it!

Expansion 9 is a circular marble track to be used with Quadrilla marble run sets. The unique shape of the track enabled my 8 year old to build circular runs, which is more difficult without this piece (it would involve using multiple curve runs instead). This is the second Expansion 9 circular track we buy from Fat Brain Toys. My child also has the Twist Set, Twist and Rail Set and the Rail Set, as well as various expansion and fun sets. Quadrilla is a great toy with limitless possibilities for creating different run configurations (well, limited only by the amount of blocks you have). My son has been collecting Quadrilla sets since he was 4 years old, and still loves playing with them. This is definitely a toy that grows with your child and I see him playing with Quadrilla for years to come.
Great Quadrilla Addition

We love the Quadrilla marble run sets, and the circle expansion was a great addition to the sets we already owned. Having a complete circle within a structure adds stability and keeps the project from being easily knocked down.
