I bought this for my 9 year old grandson for Christmas. He loved it, was very excited and immediately took it outside to try out. He was able to make it work without any adult assistance. I like that the pieces all store together in the base.

I bought it for my 6 year old and he didn't care much for it. Toy looks well made. Will give it another try later.
