My two year old loves this puzzle! She can manipulate the chunky pieces to fit into each puzzle space. The matching picture within the puzzle space helps her match the piece to its space. And when she's finished with the puzzle, she plays with the pieces as separate toys, buzzing and flying around the room.

I was very impressed with this puzzle. The brightness and quality of the painting is outstanding. The matching element of this puzzle for two years plus is very helpful for learning. The width of the puzzle pieces allows them to be played with apart from the puzzle. I watched a parade of insects and safari animals be created.

What a fun and bright puzzle! Both my 1 year old and my 3 year old love it. It's a great puzzle!

This is a great puzzle of for young children. My 2 year old grandchild really loves it. The pieces are big and chunky and it has great color.

My granddaughter has many Melissa & Doug puzzles. They are sturdy & beautifully painted. However, on the puzzle I received, the edge of the wood was splintering, the wood itself looked as though it was low quality with undulations and rough spots that appeared simply painted over, and the puzzle pieces had a white substance underneath them as though someone forgot to clean off the puzzle before packaging it. (Note from Fat Brain Toys: We regret that this puzzle did not reflect Melissa & Doug's standard of high quality construction. We are shipping a replacement puzzle to Ms. Eason immediately.)
