We received our Doctor Puppet, and couldn't be happier. The quality of the Melissa & Doug products surpass other puppets that we have previously owned. The workmanship is outstanding, the choices are great, and the addition of the stick that allows our daughters to make the arm move adds even more to the puppet. Definitely recommended!!!

we are a medical mission so this puppet is perfect for our kids outreaches.. the kids loved him/her but the only problem was he is a little small so a little hard to fit an adult hand in inside..
on the bright side, light and easy to transport..

I love the detail on the Emma and Doug puppets! The quality is amazing! You can't get a puppet this good anywhere else!

This is a terrific puppet. I've added it to a larger collection I'm gradually giving my niece. I'd absolutely recommend this puppet and others from the same line.

Purchased the Surgeon Puppet for my wife because she loves doing puppet shows for our child. This was perfect as my wife is a doctor, it allows her to get into the show.

My son fell in love with this puppet at the store and I later gave it to him for his first birthday. He talks to her and even gives her kisses. The moving mouth is really an attraction for the younger kids. I am not sure he has made the connection yet, but hopefully in time he will realize that his Mommy is a surgeon too.

My wife and I were looking for puppets for my daughter, and what we were finding was that most were severly over-priced, or not at all what we were looking for. This puppet was well made, and compared to most very reasonably priced. We plan on purchasing additional puppets within this line in the future.

My five year old brother loves it. It is very neat how the stick that moves the hand can be moved from one are to the other. The only problem I had was when I ordered it I was under the impression that it was a male surgeon. Not until receiving it did I realize it was female. You may want to specify on the website that it is female, because the picture, to me, looks male.
