Our toddler (1 1/2 years) loves this puzzle. She plays with the animals separately and also loves to put the puzzle together as it is fairly easy. Definitely a good investment!

Solid Puzzle Play

I wanted a wooden puzzle that could serve as a source of good pretend play. Most puzzles have the knobs, large or small, but these Melissa and Doug "Chunky" puzzles are knobless and perfect for what I wanted. My little 21 month old liked just moving the farm animals around, then eventually putting them each in their "home" on the puzzle board itself. Indestructible, cute, extremely solid pieces--a slam dunk!

We love it! The shapes are easy for my daughter to learn to use puzzles, and identifying the animals reinforces what we are teaching her in English and in Spanish.

This is a perfect puzzle for a toddler. I bought it for my daughter who is 17 months, and she loves to play with it. The pieces are a perfect size for her to pick up and manipulate into place. I was very pleased with the quality as well.

My 18 month old loves the puzzle! She takes the pieces out and stands them up on their own, and delights at putting them back, too.

This puzzle was exactly what I expected. The pieces are the perfect size for my 20 month old to play with and she likes to make the animal sounds as she plays with the pieces. She would probably play with this puzzle even more, but she can't put down one of the other puzzles we got, which was the Magnetic Doors puzzle!

During my Granddaughters three day stay she played with the Farm Chunky puzzle the most. She had three chunky puzzles to choose from.
