I bought this piano for my 2-year-old, who loves it, and my 5-year-old loves too. I like it because the sound is pleasant. Unlike electronic toys, the sound stops when the child stops playing it. I hope my boys will learn some real music on it. My only criticism is that there are two pieces that would serve to hold music that do not stay attached, and one is a choking hazard.

A Great Buy!

My 3 year old daughter loves this piano! She couldn't wait for me to put it together. Simple assembly. Took less than 5 minutes. Just the right size for her. She is a little over 3 feet tall and sits comfortably on the stool. Great design and a nice sleek finish! My only complaints are that the sound of the piano doesn't sound like a real piano. And the description says it is hand-tuned, but I seriously doubt it. Still sounds like a toy piano. And the piece included to hold up music books falls off and isn't really sturdy enough to hold music books. But since we love it so much and it does the job, the minor negatives don't really matter. My daughter loves to play it every morning. Would definitely recommend this to a friend who is looking to encourage music appreciation and interest in their little one.

This "piano" has been a hit with our newly 2 year old daughter. It is the perfect size, sounds great and doesn't look offensive with the rest of the room (it's in the living room). Not only does our daughter love to make music, she pushes the bench all over the house for a chair.
We haven't had it long, but it seems sturdy and will last a while.

I purchased this piano for my two year old granddaughter. If you saw her expression when she first hit a few notes you'd know why you're in this business. She loves her piano and even at her age sings along with her "playing". The sound is adequate for an instrument of its size (I hardly expect Steinway tone quality!), the size is fine for a small child, neither too large nor too small, and the instrument seems to be sturdy enough to last until she's ready for a full-size piano. We expect many months of enjoyment for her and the whole family.

Kids Who Love Music Will Love This

We gave this gift to our son who is 4 1/2 years old and loves music. He is quite taken with it and makes attempts at following the color coded letters in the song book. It's a great tool to help him become familiar with a keyboard and to show him how he can make his own music. Tonal quality is more like a toy piano but the notes work well, better than most toy pianos. The bench is sturdy. I like that the lid on the piano lifts to create a "grand" feel. We are very happy with this product.

Beautiful!

This "baby" Grand was in perfect condition, with careful styrofoam packaging there were no scratches. After being assembled, it is very sturdy (I found my 3 year old son standing on top of it once, and it still held strong)and will stand up to a lot of toddler piano playing, and also is beautiful. It sounds more like a play piano than real piano, but it still creates a nice sound. I strongly recommend this product for any children who are young and interested in music. It makes a great addition to your home.

Melissa & Doug Baby Grand Piano

I purchased this piano for my 2 1/2 year old daughter. She absolutely loves it. The piano itself is very sturdy and the bench is super sturdy. My daughter is 36 lbs and 37 1/2" tall and it fits her perfectly! The keys are clearly marked and colored so it is easy to learn. Obviously, the piano is not a "real" one so the sound is not "right on." However, the piano still makes a pretty sound and you do not have to "hammer" hard on the keys to make the sound. The piano comes with a booklet of popular songs, which are easy to play. I played them and my husband, who was in another room, came in and was able to name the song and said it sounded great. Also, my 11 month old son loves to "bang" on the keys...so far it hasn't damaged it. The top part opens up and stores the booklet or whatever toys your little one can fit ;-).

Two of the keys didn't work. Other than that it's a great product.
