At 2 years of age, it's too advanced for her. She does play with the beads- she stacks them. Since I think it is a challenge for her, I know she will grow with it--and master it. We are lengthening the firm tips of the laces--to make it easier for her to thread.

My daughters (5yrs & 3 yrs) both love this toy! It's great practice of fine motor skills and they love to make "necklaces" with them. I would absolutely recommend this toy for young children.
