If a picture sheet can be provided, that will be more helpful for a child of age 2 to play with. Now it is a little difficult for him as the picture is too small.

I have a 2 1/2 year old that loves puzzles. When I saw the puzzles in a box I instantly knew that this would have to be his next set. All the pieces have their own section and they are marked on the back to which puzzle they belong to. He can master a puzzle so fast that I'm sure we will be coming back for more Melissa & Doug puzzles shortly!

these puzzles are great for my three year old boy! He loves them which inherently means his little sister is already very interested in helping with the puzzles also!

2 yr old loves it

We bought this as a Christmas present for our 2 yr old knowing that we would need to help him a bit to complete the puzzles. He loves puzzles and trucks so it was a good fit for him. He loves to pull the pieces of one puzzle out at a time (four compartments total inside-one per puzzle) and build right on the lid of the box. (just opening the sliding lid is a game.) It's very convenient for any atmosphere in which we want him to sit quietly with us. He likes to lay out each completed puzzle as he finishes them and then put them all back at once. And sometimes we can mix the pieces up and even get him to do a sorting game with us.
awesome product.
