These watercolor pictures from Melissa & Doug are great! Each sheet has a strip of water colors on the top that your child can use to paint that particular sheet. When your child is done with the painting, just cut the paint strip off the top, and you have your child's beautiful artwork to display. The paper is heavier duty too, so the paints don't bleed through. And, the price on this can't be beat--my daughter can do several of these in one sitting (which is typical) and it's still a really inexpensive craft.

Our granddaughter loves to paint with water, so this was perfect for her. She didn't have time to use it when we were with her, but I know she will love it. She loves pink, also.

Because of the age of the child, just turned 4, she is just learning to paint pictures with water. In order for the pictures to come out with correct colors, it would have been better to maybe label the paints with numbers or letters and have the designs on the paper labeled with the correct numbers or letters to correspond with the colors.

Creativity is the emphasis with this set. Children determine for themselves where to place the colors. For painting sets that require children to use number matching, please search "art by number." We have those art projects too! The depth of our inventory adds up to fun.
