I bought ten party frames for an activity at my daughter's 6th birthday party. There was lots of packaging to deal with so I unwrapped all of them ahead of time. There were boys at the party as well. I had to buy generic wooden frames at the craft store since the Design Your Own version had flowers on them. The paint/glitter I ended up with was overkill. The kids didn't use half of what I put on the table. I also have all of the leftover pink wooden boxes they came in. Bottom line is the idea is cute, but not very practical for a large party of boys and girls. It would have been cheaper for me to load up on wooden frames and art supplies at the craft store.

Great party favor!

This product was wonderful. We bought them for each of the girl's that came to my daughter's birthday slumber party. Our idea was that we would have the girls decorate the picture frames and then we put them in their goody bags to take home with them with a picture that we had taken of all of the girls together so that they would have a picture from their first slumber party. This idea was a hit with all of the girls and their parents when they saw them.

the frames were used as a party favor for 8 year old girls the girls had a great time decorating; there were a variety of decorative items and enough of them for the frames; so there were NO complaints from the girls that they didn't have enough of any one thing, which was so very nice

Melissa & Doug Picture Frame

I purchased these for my daughter's 6th birthday crafts table. They were a big hit. I love all of the Melissa and Doug crafts. They are user friendly and have just enough with paint, stickers and jewels to make the little ones feel like accomplished artists!

The mirror was a huge sucess (she loved it) and the instructions were very straight forward and easily followed. We haven't tried the picture frame or the calendar yet.

Perfect Birthday Party Craft

I purchased 4 of these to use a an activity for my 8-year-old daughter's sleepover birthday party. All the girls LOVED them. They spent about an hour (!) working on using all the materials and making ONE-OF-A-KIND frames to take home with them. I also sent a picture of the 4 girls together at the party home for the parents.

Picture Frame Review

I bought this picture frame kit - along with other Decorate-Your-Own Party Favor kits for our upcoming Thanksgiving celebration. We will have a lot of young children and wanted to have some fun projects for them to do. I am impressed with the kit's composition, packaging and lay-out. I'm confident that whichever little cousin chooses it, she will enjoy it!
