The puzzle was in good condition and as described, although the wood pieces of this 48 piece puzzle are considerably thinner than the 12 and 24 piece Melissa and Doug puzzles. This means my puzzle obsessed kids will wear them out in a couple of months! Otherwise, it was refreshing to find a wooden 48 piece puzzle!

fun and colorful puzzle

My four-year-old daughter loves puzzles, and this rainforest jigsaw puzzle is just right for her. It's colorful and has just the right number of pieces for her. (Twenty-four pieces are too easy for her, but she doesn't yet have the patience for the 70-piece puzzles.) My daughter liked this puzzle so much that I bought another one to have on hand to give as a gift when the next preschool birthday party happens.

The pieces initially don't go together smoothly. It was fine after a parent assembled the puzzle several times
