My 4 year old son really enjoys this puzzle. It is definitely challenging for a preschooler. With a little help from an adult it is definitely doable for him.

Nice puzzle with sturdy pieces. Beautiful artwork, as well! Great addition to our homeschool "solar system" library. I do wish, however, that the planets were labeled. Other than that, it was first rate and I would highly recommend it!

My nephew was so excited when he saw his puzzle. He loved the bright colors and the fact that it was of space.

Nice colorful pieces. The children want to work together to put the puzzle together. They want to talk about the planets.

This is for a science project. Seems to fill the bill. We will see what his teacher thinks of it, when she grades it. Very nice puzzle. Thanks!

loved this puzzle, the colors are very vibrant. the pieces have some unusual shapes which is very interesting. my 5 yr old loves it. we did it together as a family the first. looking to buy more! Melissa and Doug puzzles have never dissappointed us!

This was a great choice for a very active 7.5 yr old. He's interested in the solar system, it led us to the library to find a book about it, the pieces are big enough to handle easily and figure out where it might go.

My five year received this puzzle as a gift. She has already learned a few things about the solar system and this puzzle fueled her imagination to learn more.

My kids loved putting the puzzle together. It's made of good material. Pieces don't break apart like other puzzles and it was challenging enough to keep them at the table for a while. It's one of the puzzles they like to build the most on rainy days.
