We used this for a pirate themed birthday party. All the kids loved decorating their treasure chest and putting their treasures in it.

I actually use these as party activities, at an arts and crafts party. Keeps the kids busy productiveloy occupied and having fun, and relatively quiet.

I love these treasure chests! I work with children, and both boys and girls love to decorate these boxes. They are of excellent quality as well.

When I first got the product, I was very disappointed, as the treasure chest was really small in comparison to the pictures shown on the website, which are quite deceptive. I had got these as an activity for my daughter's birthday party. But the kids had a very nice time decorating it, and they also decorated the box it came in. Both the box and the treasure chest were nice and sturdy, and don't look cheap at all.

I bought 30 of these to give out as party favors at my son's 6th birthday party. They were a huge hit! The age level was perfect and it wasn't something to be brought home and thrown out (like you do with so many party favors). The kids were able to create something that could be used to house their treasures! You can't get better than that.

I bought 23 of these for my grandson's birthday at kindergarten. All of the kids loved them! They all came in perfect condition! They are small, but kids love little boxes for their treasures!

I am always a fan of Melissa and Doug products! This chest was much smaller than I had expected it to be...but fun just the same. Please note the size when ordering.

I bought these as a craft for my son's Pirate birthday party. The kids loved making them, and it was a great little giveaway for them to take home.
