We are using the tree house in a learning center. The children are delighted with it. I wish that more people and animals came with the set

We LOVE Melissa & Doug toys! I have been buying them since my son was born based on his physical therapist's recommendation. She used all their products as part of his therapy sessions. Even though my son is finished with physical therapy, we still continue to buy their toys. The Tree House is a wonderful addition to his collection. His imagination is taking off with this toy. I wish they sold more accessories with it. That is the only negative comment that I have about it.

My problem is that it is very complicated to put together. It will probably stay in pieces until my grandchild is too old to enjoy it.

This was a birthday gift for my 5 year old - he LOVES it. Assembly was fairly easy, quality is great (what I expect from Melissa & Doug products). Big and open so 2 kids easily play with it at a time. Great product.

My 3 year old son saw this toy in a specialty store and played with it for the entire visit. I always loved doll houses, but with a son it is difficult to find a masculine version. This tree house did it! We enjoy it every day and are looking for suitable accessories.

This tree house play set has captured the the attention of both my 5 year old and my 2 year old. They have spent hours playing with this since it arrived. It is built from high quality and sturdy wood pieces.
My only complaint was that a piece of the set was missing when we received it. The missing piece was a second tier "trunk" pole used to support the second level of the tree house. One of the screws used to fasten the swing that sits on the top level was also stripped and would not screw into the swing to hold it to the top level.
We called fat brain toys and they quickly directed us to the melissa and doug call center. The are sending us replacement parts in the mail.
Overall this is a great set. I would have rated it a 5 if not for the problems outlined above.

my little girl (2 1/2) loves the tree house and so do we. she's got all her wooden animals on it too! I love that it is plain and simple so she creates the scene with her imagination. It has stimulated her pretend play and her sense of wonder.

This is a really great toy at a very reasonable price. The assmebly was a bit tedious and the directions weren't as clear as they could have been, but it did end up properly assembled without any trips to the hardware store, so all is well. Alone and together, our 4 year old and 2 year old have great fun with the stairs on a pulley system and the bucket on one as well. It is a great imagination and creativity booster. We also like the natural materials used, no worries about lead paint peeling or cracking, and no worries about the harmful chemicals in plastics.

This is a great treehouse playset. I purchased it for my son who is 5. He wanted this instead of a castle for his knights, princesses, dragons, etc... It comes with 2 little people as well. It was a great investment and FatBrainToys.com had the best price on the web w/free shipping! My daughter who is 7 plays with it as well. It only took a few minutes for my husband and I to put together. Great fun for the imagination. Will keep your kids busy! Great toy! Great toy website!

My daughter loves the toy, but I was a little dissapointed in the condition of the wodd platforms. There were scratches in the wood and it looks like messy glue on the edges. I would expect it to have come in better condition.
