These crayons work well with the placemats by Melissa & Doug. I wasn't very happy with the ones that we received. The blue one had a slight blue tint, but actually writes white- which does not show up on the placemats. It also came with 2 yellows. The green plastic cover had a yellow crayon in it. I think we just got a bad pack. Other than what I stated, the others work well.


	On the bright side, you'll be tickled pink over Melissa & Doug's product quality guarantee. We contacted our customer with information to receive a replacement for the defective coloring set.)

The crayons fall out of the holder when being used but my grandkids love using them. I have a 6 year old & two 4 year olds. They love them.

I bought these for my daughter as a fun way to learn how to write numbers and letters correctly to prepare for Kindergarten. These crayons work well on the Learning Mat that we purchased separately. They wash easily off too. The only problem is that just like regular crayons, after they are used, they no longer have a pointy tip. There is no way to sharpen them. And without the pointy tip it is hard to write with them.
