Great for Developing Higher Level Thinking Skills

As a special educator and academically talented coordinator, I found this product to be a great challenge for my students. The analogy sections of the intelligence tests that I administer always seem to be the most difficult areas for students to master. These analogy challenges are a great way for students to practice this skill while building higher level cognition.

I love the book. I bought one for my son and one for my daughter. They both love working in the books and it really challenges them. They have also learned new vocabulary as a result.

My ten year old grandson and I have finished several analogy workbooks in our homeschool. This is by far the most fun with its scrambled word "mystery" analogies at the end of each section using underlined letters from the correct analogy answers.

Rating: 
I have used level A for the last 3 years, and my students have learned how to analyze and eliminate choices. Level B provides for more practice and is more challenging.

The product will work great with my students next year! It will help prepare them for testing situations where they will see analogies, whereas normally students do not receive much practice in this area in a normal classroom setting. I can't wait to start using it!
