I bought this for myself and my sons (ages 15 and 10). We have loved watching our creations come to life! It has been as awesome way for us to spend time together.

I was really surprised to see that you could see through the paper. I am trying to get new ideas for small quilts. (I color with fabric instead of coloring or painting) It was fun to put different pieces of fabric behind the pictures to see the different effects each piece of fabric in the design. I wouldn't mind if all of your books were like that! I help some of the young girls at my church to learn how to coordinate colors in quilting and it is fun to see how many different ways a piece of fabric can be used. I believe that for children this book will help them to learn how to expand their creative imagination in a posative way.---Wrote the first part before I looked at the questions. Now I will review this book in a different way. If my granddaughters lived close by I could use this book to teach them the joy of using their emagination, the ability to see what colors blend, and what different types of fabrics can be used to show depth or to help a certain part to draw the viewers attention.

It was just something for me to doodle with in my spare time. My daughter had bought a book at Mall Of America with some color pens and it looked really interesting and fun as I lve art and crafts.
