This was a great "Magic Grandma" project that was done with my three grandsons ages 8, 10 and 11. The masks were of good, heavy duty quality and the decorating accessories were ample. Loved the sticky squares as any other adhesive was unnecessary. We had a wonderful time and took lots of photographs of the finished masks. The boys even decided to mount the masks on a door to make a family totem pole.

The mask kit was wonderful! I used it as a craft for second graders and they loved it.

Great Kit!

Setting: Home

This mask-making kit was exactly what I was hoping for. I bought this kit as well as the mask-making kit offered at Oriental Trading for a birthday party for kids ages 8 and under. This kit was much better than the other one. I put out glue sticks in addition to all the strings, feathers, pom-poms, etc. and the kids had a blast. I highly recommend the kit. I think it would be great to have around the house for a rainy day as well.

I have purchased this once before. The kids (5 year old twins) love it. Of course they have their own ideas on how masks should look, so I do provide them with extra stickers, glitter, markers, etc. However, it's one project they stick with until finished in their eyes. My only criticism, the cardboard is a little hard on their faces.

I haven't done this with my grandchildren as yet, but it looks like a great craft to keep them interested. It will let them be creative.

I purchased the Mask kit for my grandson's 5th birthday. I bought the same kit for another child prior, and he and his sister loved it. I am a teacher, so I am always looking for fun craft projects for my grandchildren that don't make too much of a mess! This meets the qualifications.
