We'll Grow Into It

We've had other exercise books from Mindware and assumed that "level A" would be appropriate for my first grader as other "level A" books have been. On this product "level A" means for 3rd and 4th grade. I would suggest to Mindware that they standardize wtheir difficulty scale for specific grade levels, so we can know more easily how to get age-appropriate material. This book looks great and I expect my daughter will love it like she has loved Logic Links, in a couple of years.

My 8 year old son loves Perplexors of all kinds, but he thinks the Math Perplexors are the best! We highly recommend these books for teaching logical thinking.

Review for Math Perplexors - Level A

This product is very good at making you think. I bought this for my kids but ended up doing some of them as well. They are great because they force you to think outside the box. They aren't so easy that you get bored. They're difficult enough an adult can enjoy solving them as well.

My rating of Math Perplexors - Level A

These are actually pretty tricky even though they are Level A. There is no way my 8 year old could do them by himself right off the bat. However, these are great puzzles to work on together until the kids get the knack of them. It doesn't hurt to have my own brain cells stimulated either!

My 7 year old, who loves to solve problems - especially math and logic puzzles. While he's only gone through about 20% of the book so far, he is enjoying the stories that are on each page and figuring out the related answers. Although he has needed help at various times, he learns about new ways to solve with each challenge. I highly recommend the Perplexors series for anyone who enjoys solving logic and math puzzles. As a Mom who also likes a good puzzle, I also am enjoying helping him solve these problems (and even skipped ahead and tried some on my own)!

This is a a fun family activity! I did a few with my kids to show them how much fun they are and they kept working on them afterward. It is a great skill to learn for standardized tests.
