Good challenge for teens and adults. Good for brain game exercise and visual - spatial exercise. May be to challenging or frustrating for some 8 year olds.

Another alternative and fun way to learn letter sounds and how they fit into words. The pen works great and offers multiple sound choices for right and wrong answers. If you are teaching young children how to read at home, this presents a nice alternative to computers and other materials that kids may get bored with. It doesn't really offer feedback on why their answer may be right or wrong, but with this game, they learn through trial and error which is a good thing too.
