It's what my daughter wanted. She finished the earlier books and couldn't wait to get Level D.

My son is a 7th grader and while he enjoys the book, he finds the problems too easy

I purchased the book for my summer classroom at school to challenge students to think in an organized fashion to solve story problems. They enjoyed trying too think of the answers.

Both my kids (ages 9 and 12) love the Perplexors books - they are definitely educational and get them thinking about problems in new ways. They are also fun and interesting enough that they enjoy doing them in their spare time!

Perplexors Level D Puzzle Book
Posted 1/24/2010 by GW

Rating:

This product has many great, challenging puzzles. They definitely make you think, with only several clues to guide you in which thing to cross out on whom, and what things to circle on others. On one of them, I thought there was no answer, but then with my mom's help, I was able to figure it out. I would recommend this puzzle book for ages 12 and up. I don't like the fact that the puzzles are all the same with different variations of stories, but the same basic method.

I love this Perplexors Level D. I had purchased level B and C last year for my students and they loved it. They went through the other levels and still wanted more. I had to get this one for them. It was worth it.

I got this for mygranddaughter who is a math whiz. It looked like the problems I had seen her do for Math Team prep. I was so right. She loves them.

My son is going into 5th grade next year and he has strengths in Math, Science and Visual/Spacial problems. This book challenges him and he has completed 12 of the pages, only struggling a bit on one of them.

I think this product is wonderful. It exercises my students' minds. It teaches them logic and the process of elimination. It's fun and educational at the same time. Wonderful!

These are great brain teasers that usually only take a 10 - 15 minutes to complete. Very hard to rate due to nature of product.
