I Bought What Santa Forgot!

These are like short stilts, with a big huge foot at the bottom. They provide much better balance than stilts. The kids love them. My nephew, age 7 1/2, loved them. His first few attempts resulted in some scary/funny falls/sprawls (hence the product recommends use of a safety helmet). A helmet (bike helmet would be fine) might be advisable for younger children or for the first few uses - the Stomp Walkers are not that high, but the falls can be awkward. Children tend to master them pretty quickly, though. My 10 year old nephew enjoyed them, too. They are entertaining for the adults to watch. Later in the evening I caught one of the adults on them! (Note: There is a weight limit - these are not suitable for all adults.)

The stilts work well and are low enough for us to feel safe with our 5 and 7 year old kids using them. One product change I would look at is attaching the feet with a pin as well. When you fall off the stilts, the feet tend to get turned in relation to the direction of foot pads.

My daughter loves these. She has had a great time trying to maintain her balance (she's 5) and walk around the house. Hopefully when the weather improves, we'll be able to use them outside.
