I see this product not as a toy but as piece of art. As art, it has a timelessness about it that reminds me of the toys I would receive as a child before everything was made of plastic. Thanks, Fat Brain Toys, for the great products you make available.

My four-year old daughter loves the Rainbow. The colors and curves catalyze her creativity. When she tires of building, she pounds a few note that my adult ears can tolerate.

Rainbow not so bright

I recently purchased the rainbow to use in my first grade classroom. This is a very unique toy & instrument. I had fun playing with the shapes. I was not impressed with the tone from hitting the wood pieces, even though I tried it on many different surfaces. I have yet to find a surface where all sizes give a tone. I was disappointed in the colors, for the price I thought the colors should have been a little brighter and more even. The instructions said a yellow ball rolls around on the pieces, but my set did not come with a ball. Overall, I would not recommend this product.

I thought it would be bigger, and it seems to make no sort of sound at all! I'm disappointed.
