The Erector Set Design 1 was the perfect choice for my 9 year old nephew. His dad will have just as much fun helping him build it. It's actually a 3-in-1 set. It is great to have more than one option. My brother-in-law recently bought a motorcycle. My nephew was thrilled to make "one of his own".

I bought this for my grandson and it is a wonderful toy. Sometimes trying to figure out the directions were a little tough, but he loved the challenge of putting it together.
