Directions were easy to follow. Plant sprouted on time. We're looking forward to seeing it full-grown!

I bought these for my 12yr daughter. I had them when i was a kid and I truely believe that every child should have one. she just love the idea of grown her own plants and then really feeding them! She is very big into sicence and horticulture. These are a great way to explore both! I recommend these to anyone who has never had them and to everyone who has.

I like it very much but, still it's not big enough.. It will grow and by time I'll enjoy it more.

Catnip seeds, some dirt, and a mini pot. Not much to it, but it's fine. It was cheap.

Grow Your Own Venus Flytrap
Posted 8/2/2007

Rating:

Our fourth grade teaching team wanted the Venus Flytraps to go along with a story in our new reading series. We're crossing our fingers that our plants will grow as expected and enjoy some tasty little flies, too. We know our students are really going to enjoy this learning experience!

The Scary Ghost Plant looked really cool but it takes a lot of time to grow. My 11 and 6 year old were very excited and did the 24 hour prep for the planting. The seeds were tiny and we hope we got them in the dirt. Then you need to put the plant in the back of your refrig in a plastic bag for 4 weeks. Then it gets a little complicated, we will see if the boys remember it in a month. Neat idea but rather complicated and drawn out for kids.
