My 5-year old LOVES this toy. He's been crazy about pirates since he was two. Most of the pirate ships and pirate toys we've purchased for him will fall apart when he pretends the ship sinks or gets blasted by a cannonball. More often than not, the parts (e.g., masts, ship rails) that come off can be challenging for small hands to put back together. This ship, on the other hand, is well-constructed. It's made of wood, not plastic. Parts that do come off are easily put back together. Also, the ship is the perfect size for small hands. The pirate is wearing "real clothes," not plastic pieces that pop off. This toy keeps my son and his active imagination busy for hours. I highly recommend it and plan to purchase other products in the Pirate Legends line.

My four year old grandaughter likes pirates. The Pirate Ship was a birthday gift, and is a big hit. The toy is smaller than it appeared on the website, but that didn't bother my grandaughter. She took it to bed with her that night!
Great fun for the boys!

Nice wooden construction for the ship. The bendable pirate is lots of fun! Great product for great cost.
