Favorite Toy Christmas Morning!
Posted 12/26/2007 by Lynn M.

Rating:

My granddaughters thought this was the best toy they got. They played with it all morning. We didn't expect the youngest girl (only 9 months old) to play with it, but her sister shared and she enjoyed the colorful animals immensely.

A great gift, the simplest one are always the best for two year olds and this one has kept her busy and entertained for hours.

The 18 month old girl and her 3 year old brother loved it. It would have been a bit helpful if the toys were a bit softer, or if I knew the pieces were this hard as they do hurt when tossed by one of the children. Overall it was a good selection.

The pieces wipe clean easily. The pins are smaller than I had pictured in my mind but they are still a good size. The pins also stand up easily (unlike some other sets that I've seen). The material the pins and ball are made of reminds me of a rubber duckie. Overall I am pleased with this bowling set.

Son's Favorite Gift

The item is very well made and brightly colored. Once my son opened this gift he forgot about opening all the others. Only change I would make is the size or weight of the ball, he has difficulty getting the ball to knock the pins over.

My 10-month old was fascinated with the ball making the pin animals fall down. Great start to learn cause-and-effect. For now, she enjoys chewing on the pin animals, but I hope in time she will learn to bowl herself.

Seem Durable And As Described

The only con is that, when used as a bathtub toy, these retain a little bit of water. You'll either have to squeeze them, sling them around, or some other combination to get the water out entirely. When used as just bowling pins, though, they set up on our carpet just fine. Animal pins squeak when squeezed. A good multi-use toy.
